Merlin & Viviane à Roissy-en-France
Merlin and the Lady of the lake in Roissy en France
«from Switzerland» ...
Paris Charles De Gaulle airport, stopover before crossing the pond. Walking through the village of Roissy, set within the airport like some precious stone on a concrete and steel jewel, we come across an interesting "troquet" where we decide to take a last continental dinner...
Atmosphere, welcome, food all impregnated with the long lost warmth that was once the trademark of France's country pubs.
Whilst we were ordering the coffee, a customer leaves the bar and ask us (in a frenchman's - but more honest than that of many - English) "where do you come from ?"
"Switzerland we answer in the same lingua"
"Then, you speak French !?"
End of the misunderstanding.
Happens to be the editor of the local webzine and wishes to take our picture for a "paper" on "encounters"
End of the story on Merlin and the Lady of the lake in Roissy
Nice and friendly evening, a good omen for this trip !
