C'est loin l'Amérique ? Aventures à bord
Across the pond... In flight entertainment
A recommander.
After our adventure in Roissy (see previous post) we get back to the airport through a real old time fog (during which two Air France planes managed to collide), we enjoy without any shame whatsoever the corrupt luxury of the Icarus lounge reserved for the "non economy class". Not wanting to share our flight with the elbows, knees and whatever else of our fellow passengers, and after reading an article in "Le Figaro" (yes, that also we assume) on "La Compagnie" which proposes low cost business class travel, we decided to print some fresh money and indulge in flight comfort.
We will spare you the full description and selfies of the services, drinks, meals but will nevertheless confirm that comfort and services where there.
To be recommended !
Uneventful flight except for...
During takeoff the tablet which I use to record, document and publish these posts fell from my hands and landed at the feet of the passenger behind me. Then, the plane being in ascent, slid under his seat. Corpulent, afflicted by a nasty cold, the passenger-now-seated-on-my-tablet would not cooperate so I was deprived from my tools of trade for the rest of the flight.
Sometimes later, whilst flying somewhere over the ocean, the lady sitting just before us noticed that, as the cabin crew was busy, an unidentified male passenger introduced himself in the staff area and appeared to be tampering with the door !
An understandable moment of concern ensued...
Until the steward intervened and escorted him to his seat. It seems that the man was looking for chocolates !
